How to Play

Christmas Furious is a free and fun online game similar to Flappy Bird with a couple significant exceptions. Rather than controlling an individual bird you control Santa and his sleigh, you get 5 heart containers, and there are 6 fixed levels in the game. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. All game files are stored locally in your web browser cache. This game works in Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and other modern web browsers.

Starting the Game

Click on the play button to begin the game.
You can pause the game using the button in the upper left corner.
Your game play data is stored in your local web browser.
Playing the Game
- Game Controls
  - Tap your screen or click your mouse button to cause Santa’s sleigh to rise.
  - Do not press any buttons to have his sleigh fall.
  - Avoid the yellow and red boxes.
    - Hitting a yellow box costs a half heart container.
    - Hitting a red box costs a full heart container.
    - Collect the presents
      - Every level except for the last has 20 presents. The final level has something like 100+ presents you can collect.
      - Run into the presents to add them to your sleigh and keep them with you until the finish line.
      - Strategy
        Levels
        You have to beat each level to unlock the next.
        You can replay any level again from the level select screen if you want to get more presents.
        Presents
        A level is considered complete if you survive to the finish line with 20 presents in your sleigh.
        If you are struggling to get 20 presents on a level skip it and come back to it.
        If you hit into a block or sharply change elevations while carrying presents that can cause some presents to fall out of the sleigh.
        Controls
        In some cases all the blocks for a period of time are near the top of the screen or near the bottom of the screen.
        If there are no blocks near the top of the screen you can hold your mouse button in to keep floating at the top of the screen.
        If there are no blocks near the bottom of the screen then let your sleigh move along the ground by pressing nothing.
        Movement strategy
        In some cases you have to make a sudden rise or fall. In these cases you would keep the mouse pressed for an extended period of time or not press it for an extended period of time to change elevation as quickly as possible.
        The reindeer and Santa Claus’ sleigh take up over half the screen width, so in most cases it makes sense to make many short repeated light taps to keep the entire chain somewhat level. If you do long presses less frequently then then relative elevations between the front and back of the sleigh will be much different, with this wider gyration causing you to bump into many blocks.
