How to Play

Play Mini Drifts online for free. Mini Drifts is a simple 'turn right' drifting game where you see how long you can hold drifts and how many points you can score before bumping into a wall. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. All game files are stored locally in your web browser cache. This game works in Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and other modern web browsers.

Starting the Game

Tap the blue and white button near the bottom eft of the game welcome screen to start the game.
- This will load the race screen. Tap the same button again (though it is in the center of the screen) to start the race.
- The welcome screen also has a sound control button in the lower right.
- The game automatically stores your current level based on your high score.
- Game Controls
  - Desktop
    - Use your mouse left click button and hold it to hold a drift.
    - Touchscreen devices
      - Touch the screen with your finger to use it like a mouse.
      - Game Play
        Drifting
        Click and hold for a long time to hold a long drift and score maximum points.
        You can also repeatedly tap lightly to do micro adjustments, though your score in doing so will be much lower.
        In general you want to hold drifts as long as you can to score the maximum possible & only rely on shorter drifts if you are close to a wall of off centered in your driving and are trying to restore your normal lines.
        You can not turn left, so if you overdrift you are going to hit the inside wall.
        Dying
        Be careful that the front end of your car does not hit an inside wall and the back end of your car does not hit an outside wall on a loose drift.
        If you hit a wall you can click the red button in the center of the screen to play again.
        Scoring
        You do not score points for driving, only for drifting.
        Longer drifts score more points than a repeat of many smaller drifts.
        Levels
        Across the top of the screen it shows your level, your score, and the score goal.
        When you beat the score goal it will increase your level number, however this only happens once per game, so if you are on level 4 with a goal of 800 points and score 2,432 points the next time you play you will be on level 5 with a goal of 1,000 points.
        The level goal increases by 200 points on each level.
        Target Audience
        The game is suited for drifters of all ages.
        The game has no adult content.
